WT and I met in the early 1970s as colleagues at Stouffer's Frozen Foods. A personal friendship developed, as trusted teammates!
Even when WT moved on to Riddell and I moved to Solana Beach, CA, our friendship remained and deepened...
WT became a Guardian Angel to me in 2007, when I was diagnosed with Stage IV Kidney Cancer. As I pondered my 5% 5 year survival odds, I planned palliative care. However, WT would not accept "throwing in the towel"!...He and Lauren did homework to find me an NIH Urinary Cancer Program at a Hospital, UCSD, near my hometown (that I had no clue about)!...17 years later I still give "Thanks!" to WT and Lauren!...
Wallace T. Johnson, Jr. is a man of strong character, loyal, and with a mischievous humor and smile!
AND, this I know: WT will "soar on wings like eagles" Isaiah 40:31, and reunite with his beloved Son, Todd!
I love WT! He will be missed, BUT ALWAYS remembered!...
