I am a parishioner at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. When I came to church on Saturday to serve as sacristan, to my great sadness, I saw that our Dear Tina had passed on. Tina was an acolyte, a sacristan, an EM and a filler-in-er of the highest quality. She will be remembered by me as a person with a personality like champagne bubbles, a quick and beautiful smile, and a willingness to help out in any way that she could from clean-up crew to Solemnity Ministry. She was in so many ways all of the things that are embodied in the best of us Liturgy Team group members. She will be so missed and is still so loved by me and all who know her!
Eternal rest Grant unto Tina, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her sweet Soul and all the Souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Prayers for the comfort of her family and friends. The thought occurred to me when I saw her name on Saturday, Tina knows us again! That thought makes all of this just a little less painful. (A very little less.)
