I couldn't have asked for a better father in law than Bob.
He and I talked a lot about his service days and I enjoyed all the stories he told me. He loved his old antique Dodge and we spent many hours talking about his little trips and car shows he went to. He was a kind, gentle man who was always there to listen when you need to get things off your chest. He would always talk about getting old sucked because he loved and missed being able to get out in the woods to hunt, fish or camp. I am going to miss him a lot because when my parents passed many years ago both Bob and Ann became my second parents and they made me feel like I was part of their family. He will always be a part of me and he will never be forgotten. I hope Heaven has lots of forests and lakes for you Bob to be able to get back out and enjoy the outdoors. I love you Pops and will see you again when I am called home.
