Dear Sandy, Jennifer & Scott- Please accept our deepest condolences to your family at this time. Your mother was an amazing woman and she will truly be missed! As her Care Team, it was a privilege to know her and help her. She enjoyed hearing our stories about our families and our pets and seeing all our photos. She was a part of our families. I met Mavis as one of her many caregivers. There were several of us that loved and cared for her for the last few years. We laughed together, cried together, played games, and most importantly took great care of our dear Mavis. When she struggled, we borrowed her our strength to get by. Each of us brought some knowledge and shared our wisdom and experience to make things just a little easier for her journey home. We were all blessed to have been her friend and privileged to have been part of her care team. We know the good Lord was waiting for her with open arms and her reunion with Allen was simply wonderful. She is now with peace and without pain.

Mavis was a wonderful Aunt and her and her family hosted many Christmas's filled with great conversation, games and wonderful food! She had many talents and a great sense of humor. I truly admired her as a person as well as an aunt. She enriched the lives of everyone around her, thank you Mavis, may you rest in Peace.
