I'm so sad to learn of Wendy's passing, now several years ago. I remember getting her letter that she was leaving her practice due to health issues and now see that she did pass away. Wendy helped me get my elderly mother set up with two new hearing aids back in 2009, working to get assistance from the manufacturer so she get could them at a reduced rate that Mom could afford. Mom was transitioning from her own home to assisted living and was dealing with dementia, and had lost her one hearing aid and could hear almost nothing at all. Wendy was Mom's audiologist for several years and was always so kind, understanding and generous with her time with both me and my mom. Wendy's practice was all about her patients and she led with her heart and really connected with us. Wendy helped make this very emotional life transition for both my Mom and me so much smoother and easier. Wendy was a godsend to us! Thank you, Wendy. You are missed.
