Obituary of Donald J. Leisdon, Sr.

Leisdon, Donald J. Sr. (Don), age 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and caregivers on January 12, 2022.  Donald was born on November 11, 1930 in Breadsley MN.  He was a long time resident of Bloomington and retired to Brainerd, MN. He was proceeded in death by his Father Herman, Mother Myrtle, sisters Ann and JoAnn, brother Gerald and his beloved sidekick Zoey. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Leisdon, sisters Marge and Betty, children Cheryl Ladendorf (Scott), Debra Leisdon, Donald Leisdon Jr.

He will be greatly missed by many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and neighbors.

Don served in the air force and had a love of all things mechanical. He was always compassionate and caring for anyone that needed his help.

A service will be held at Minnesota Valley Free Lutheran Church, 16075 Hawthorn Path, Lakeville, MN 55044, on April 8th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a service at Fort Snelling Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
