I am so sorry to hear of Dons passing. My heart goes out to the whole family. Don was a great guy to live across from when I was growing up. Although my dad Frank was very mechanically inclined, we didn't have all the tools and knowledge that Don had. In addition to borrowing all his tools, I remember one particular project was a 48 Plymouth that needed the engine removed. Me and a friend got it all ready, pushed it across the street, pulled the engine out with Dons block and tackle, then set it in the trunk and pushed it back to our house. He must have thought that was the stupidest plan he had ever heard of, but he helped us out anyway. Don wasn't all that talkative, but he was always there when someone needed help, and that's what counts.
