Obituary of William Uhl

William (Bill) Uhl was born in Clarinda, Iowa, on June 23, 1936. After graduating from Braddyville High School, he joined the Navy where he was trained in electrical engineering.

He loved working in his beloved shop; and created many pieces of furniture for his family, along with a car, a boat, and an airplane. He traveled extensively, and enjoyed many ocean cruises with his wife Birgitta. He particularly loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Bill passed away on December 9, 2021 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Birgitta; children Jack (Jodi) Uhl, Karin (Tom) Bertoldi, and Kris Uhl; grandchildren Jordan Uhl, Ryan Uhl, Elisa (Trevor) Checkal, Katie (Lincoln) Yellick, Tyler (Taylor) Bertoldi, Nick (Morgan) Uhl, and three great grandchildren.

Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
