So sorry to have just heard about Rob's passing. What a good friend and great person. I always enjoyed his company. He always had a new place to meet and I looked forward to his latest story around volunteering, work after retirement, or an update on Brooklyn Park. As I live now in AZ, it was always a must to get together when I came north. He will be missed.

Here are some photos of Robin and Byron (and myself) having our first visit in umpteen years at the Mall of America in October of 2010, right after my retirement. We had such a good visit for a few hours! My family was so honored that just a few years later, Robin, Byron, Karen, Caryn and Wade showed up at my nieces house in Buffalo, MN, for a big family reunion. We still talk about that day! An added benefit was sharing emails and facebook posts by many of us from that day forward. Robin was a regular on facebook so we were able to keep in touch. And every so often, Robin and I would swap some personal emails. It was so nice to "expand" our family once again!
