Pat was a character, talented, passionate, funny and he will be missed by all. Our children, Brian and Julia, that he deeply loved, will celebrate his life in all their years to come. As will I, his family, and his many friends.

It is with deep sorrow that I heard of the passing of Pat. I have known Pat for many years through mutual friends from Hayward Wisconsin. Pat's kind-hearted nature and his charm will be missed by all of us there.

I met Pat only once, through daughter Julia, at a decoy show. Full of life and he so loved his work creating decoys. He was a fabulous craftsman. My condolences to Julia and Dan and the family.

I'm grateful for having known Pat, and loved the times he shared with the Pfeiffer family up north. A lot of laughter and warmth around puzzles and games. Thank you for these memories, and for giving the world Julia.

I met Pat through his daughter Julia. When I was 20, I left to work the summer in Yellowstone. Pat took me and Julia into his workshop and he showed me every single duck that I might encounter out west. This is a vivid memory of mine and I would never have noticed the ducks there if it wasn’t for Pat.

Pat and I became best friends in high school at Benildr. Our friendship continued until he passed away. Pay and I used to skip carpool and walk to school, around the lakes, and talk about everything. I was welcomed into the Meneely home and have fond memories of singing Beatle songs around the kitchen table with the whole family. I purchased one of his carvings of a cardinal which I gave to my parents as a gift. I now have that cardinal and will think fond memories of Pat every time I see it.
