Obituary of Jani Jo Dalbec

Jani Jo Dalbec (Carlsgaard), born October 9, 1971 in Superior, WI died in her home in Superior on October 5, 2020. She was a 1989 graduate of Superior Senior High School.

During her childhood, she spent summers at the family cabin at Lake Minnesuing and enjoyed watersports and throughout her life an extreme fondness for animals including her horse Woody and many dogs, cats and little critters. In her free time, you could find Jani either fishing or tending her vegetable garden with her best friend and husband Shawn.

Jani was a loving daughter, sibling, wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Carlsgaard.

She is survived by her husband, Shawn, her daughters, Ali and Keily, her son, Luke (Tabitha) and stepson, Terence (Niki Clug), grandsons Duke and Lawson, her mother, Jean Carlsgaard, sister Chery (Paul), brothers, Randy, Tim, Terry and Thomas (Dawn). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Due to the current COVID pandemic a memorial celebrating her life will be held at a future date.
