Obituary of Daniel E Kuklock

Daniel E. Kuklock, 58, of Belle Plaine, MN, died unexpectedly September 19, 2020, at his home.

Dan was born July 24, 1962 and was lovingly adopted by Emmett and Patricia Kuklock in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Apple Valley Senior High and later achieved his B.A. in Physical Education and Special Education. During his lifetime Dan spent countless hours in the gym coaching volleyball and very much enjoyed connecting with the athletes. He worked often with special needs children and adults and showed immense compassion for all. He was an extremely talented artist; he often used his artwork to brighten others’ days. Dan loved science fiction books and movies, comic books, art, yard work, bonfires, and telling extremely corny jokes. He will be fondly remembered for his laughter and off-the-wall sense of humor. He held a special place in his heart for his family, and for his niece and step-grandchildren who meant the world to him.

Survived by mother, Pat Kuklock of Apple Valley, MN, brothers James Kuklock of Golden Valley, MN, and Edward Kuklock of Apple Valley, MN, sister Mary Pat (Jeffrey) Hoppe of Freeport, MN, and niece Sara Rose Hoppe of Freeport, MN.

He was preceded in death by his amazing father, Emmett Kuklock.

Dan spent much of his adult life struggling with chemical dependency. Over the last year, he has worked hard at sobriety and working on the person he strived to be. His family is proud of his fighting spirit and would like to thank all his sponsors and friends for their support.
