Aunt Betty; from family Christmases to family reunions, she always brought love and laughter. So very thoughtful, she was always careful to include my son Coty as one of her own grandchildren. I will be forever grateful for all the love she gave to him.
After writing, erasing, and rewriting about memories, loving thoughts and Betty's beautiful qualities, I realized that someone, many years ago, had already written the perfect description of her beautiful soul. It goes as follows:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always preserves.
Aunt Betty was love, and you can be assured that you've lived your life right when there's an entire Bible verse written about you.
We love you Aunt Betty, and we love you Uncle Bill.
