My sympathies are with you, Olson and Nelson families. Barb was one of my first friends when I moved to Buffalo in eighth grade; so many happy afternoons hanging out at her house had a positive impact on my life. I learned about "hobnail" glass from Barb :-)
Your grief is tremendous but you will find comfort in your many happy memories of life with Barb. Sincerely, Sheryl Wood Homan

Bruce and I are just so sorry for your loss. Words escape us and our hearts break for all of you. Being backyard neighbors has been a gift and we will always be here for you. Seeing you, Tim, with Barb always warmed our hearts. Watching you walk over the 610 bridge together side by side these last few weeks certainly showed how endeared you were to each other....side by side every time we saw you. She beamed when she spoke of you and the girls. Oh, how you will all miss her every day the rest of your lives. Knowing Barb loved the Lord and served Him with her whole heart gives us the blessed assurance of a reunion just around the bend. May God wrap you in His arms and draw you close. May you feel His presence like never before. We love you guys.

I think Winnie the Pooh said it best, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying good-bye so hard.” — A.A. Milne, author.
Saying farewell to Barb is harder than I ever imagined. She was the BEST in every way...thoughtful, funny, understanding, comforting, supportive, uplifting, brave... Barb’s generosity and kindness always welcomed me back to Minnesota with a place to stay and an amazing time. Barb helped me heal from grief and celebrated my joy. She saw the best version of me and she will forever be in my heart. Love you, Barbie. Jill Wannebo Kreacic

Mrs. Olson, Becky, Pam and Ruth, I am so saddened to hear about Barb's death. She was the best friend I could have had growing up and although we lost contact over the years, I have many fond memories of her and spending time at your house. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. She will be truly missed.
