Both my father and I knew Pat from the golf course, where he was humble and soft spoken, and one of the best partners/ opponents we've had the pleasure to play with. Golfing with Pat was always a pleasure, because even though he competed at the highest level, he was open to conversation, story telling and laughter. He shared stories about his marriage, his two sons and his life, and he patiently listened to our stories, too. My favorite Pat Vincelli memory was the day he and I teamed in a MPGA match at Elk River CC to shoot a best ball of 64. It wasn't difficult for me--Pat shot 65 on his own! My Dad tells the story that Pat and his wife were one of the first visitors to his home when my mom passed away. A small gesture that will never be forgotten. Dave and Bob McIntosh
