Obituary of Evelyn Josephine Koksma

Koksma, Evelyn (Hagberg) (October 1932-May 2020) Preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Koksma, daughter Shelly Wiggin, sister Lorraine Bowman, and brother Leo Hagberg. She is survived by daughter, Diane Stueland; son, Bradley Koksma; grandsons, Aaron Wiggin, Ryan Wiggin, Travis Koksma; great granddaughter, Jasmine Koksma; son-in-law, Micheal Wiggin and many nieces and nephews. Never afraid of a challenge she enrolled in College in her late forties and was so proud of graduating, earning a Paralegal degree. She was a long time resident of Crosslake working for Shores and More Real Estate Company, President of Toast Masters and involved in many volunteer activities. She loved nature and life at the lake, enjoying long boat rides, and most of all entertaining friends and family at her beautiful lake home. She loved politics and would engage in spirited discussions with all who were interested. She spent the last six years at Minnesota Masonic Home. The family would like to extend our gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Masonic Home for the loving care they gave to Evie making her feel part of their family and community. I would also like to thank the caring staff at Methodist Hospice for the support given to both my mom and our family. She is loved and will be missed by many. A private family gathering will be scheduled at later date.
