Dear Harvey and family,
We loved Glenna and the years we lived in the Zion Lutheran parsonage. Glenna was always warm, loving and caring for us and our young boys. We give thanks to God for her faithful witness to our Savior Jesus, and are glad that Jesus is the resurrection and the life for Glenna and all who believe.
In Christ,
Pastor Phil and Darcey, Matt, Andrew and John Larsen

Our family will miss Grandma Glenna deeply. Her love and devotion to our family were constantly on display. From family gatherings during Thanksgiving and Christmas to spending summers together at the Tallackson family farm, she knew how to make her grandchildren feel special, loved and blessed through the gift of spending time together and supporting our activities. I could also always count on never having to feel hungry with her wonderful cooking and baking!
Even as she grew older, she provided that same love to my own children through our visits with her. As time passes, I think about how her loving influence has shaped my own view of what it means to be both a parent and grandparent. Having her as a Grandmother was a blessing and gift that I do not take for granted.
We love her, honor her and miss her – may she rest in peace (John 14:27).
Love, -Andrew, Laura, William, Luke, Molly and Anna Elbert

I'll always have memories of going up to the farm for Thanksgiving & Christmas and having large Tallackson family gatherings. Grandma Glenna was always so happy to see everyone and made sure to prepare everyone's favorite food/goodies. I'll always remember her Walsh County Blue Ribbon-winning brownies. Later, during summers I would go up to the farm and help out--and I can still remember Grandma yelling from the porch to come in for supper & would lay a huge kiss on my cheek when it was time to drive back home (even if I thought I was too old for it). More than anything, she helped shape our family through her love & devotion, and we will miss her greatly. After a tough battle, may she Rest in Peace. Love, Matt.

I have so many wonderful memories of my Grandma Glenna and time spent with her. Some of those memories include Christmas time at the farm, always having a stock of DQ dilly bars in the freezer for her grandkids, she loved listening to her grandkids play the piano for her, and she always gave you a kiss on the cheek to greet you leaving a lipstick print on your cheek. One of my most recent memories was visiting her in the nursing home with my parents and my daughter Quinn who was still a baby at the time. Her face lit up and she was full of smiles and laughs holding Quinn and playing with her; that was the Grandma I remember. I love my Grandma dearly and will miss her. May she rest in peace. Love, Amanda Ashfield (Colin, Quinn and Willa).

My mother was a great example of someone who loved her faith and her family. She always prayed for all of us, and so enjoyed meeting her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom was creative, she was involved in created baked goods such as her buns and brownies. She also was very good at oil painting. I have several of her pictures in my home. She was very social and loved her talking to her family on the phone, visiting with others at church, socializing and greeting visitors to the ND Capitol. She loved people.
Miss you Mom and hope I can be an example of your love for my family, church and community.
Your daughter Amy, along with your son in law Dale
