Obituary of Shirley Ann Barringer

Shirley Ann Barringer, 71, of Minneapolis, MN Passed away Feb. 4th, 2020 after a 16 month battle with Cancer. Born May 20th, 1948 in Red Wing, MN, she attended Ellsworth High School, Graduated Class of 1966. She worked as an X-Ray technologist for 50 years in Red Wing and in various clinics around the Twin Cities, including, Nicollet Clinic, MN Orthopedic’s, and Twin Cities Orthopedic’s. She was a Life long volunteer, MN Impala Car Club member, and chaired many School Fundraiser’s. Shirley enjoyed life immensely, she loved a good book, traveling, dining out, enjoying a glass of wine with her family and friends, and most importantly spending as much time with her two Grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her loving Husband of 51 years, Gordon; Her Children Daniel (Amy), Dennis; Grandchildren Makenzie and Parker; Cousins Roberta and Frank Hovde; Aunt Carmen Harris, and many beloved family and friends. Preceded in death by Parents, Lucille and Elner Anderson; Cousins Darlene Trok and James Hovde. Celebration of Life will be held at the Garden Mausoleum, located at Lakewood Cemetery at 3600 Hennepin Ave So, Minneapolis, MN 55408, on Saturday Feb. 22 from 1-4pm.
