Obituary of John Edward Gooch

GOOCH, John Edward, age 69, of Shoreview, passed away on January 29, 2020 at his home, surrounded by family.  He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald; brother, Thomas; grandson, Carson.  He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Diane; children, Shawn Gooch (Mindy), Matthew Gooch (Janell Teurle), Kimberlina Gooch (Mike Keating), Jamie Bullis (Zack); 10 grandchildren; mother, Louise McManus; sister, Mary Wilson (Marv); brother, Paul McManus; many relatives and good friends.  Celebration of Life 11:30AM Saturday, Feb.29^th at Hope Christian Church, 4911 Hodgson Road, Shoreview with visitation at church 1 hour before service.  Interment 2PM Friday, July 31, 2020 Assembly #4 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Family and friends to gather at the cemetery by 1:45pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted by the family for John’s favorite charities:  Wounded Warrior Project, the MN Patriot Guard, and MN DAV.   www.cremationsocietyofmn.com
