John was a patient at the VA. Many of us got to know him and his wife over the months. John always had a smile on his face and was quick to share a story about his family-which he clearly loved so much. We all enjoyed taking care of him and his great sense of humor. Such a wonderful man . Got to meet him and Diane a couple years ago. His daughter Kimberlina will be my daughter in law soon. John and Diane made a awesome couple. I know he will be missed by many. Prayers to family!

I'm forever grateful for the opportunity to have been able to reconnect with you since I got to meet you when I was younger. You were one of the few guys that always included us kids and made sure we respected everyone, especially Grandma!! I so wish I could have been able to have met my youngest girl, however I know you are now pain free and you are an angel to watch over us. Hugs my friend until we meet up again!!

John was one of a kind and the best friend that I could ask for. After 20+ years where do you start with memories when they are all great ones. My prayers go out the the family, you are in my thoughts. John is already and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
