Jeane was a loving, wonderful gramma to my daughter, Cassie Jeane. She loved Cassie, and welcomed her into her life as an infant, and I never worried about Cassie, when she was with Jeane. Cassie got to experience up north, squirrels on the deck, and Woodtick Bridge with Jeane ... and so much more! She will be missed.

My sister Cassie loved her gram so much. She always talked about her loving and sassy nature. When I was little, before my sister was born, Jeane and Ruben welcomed my mom and I wholeheartedly into their family. My sister’s spirit is much like her gram and I know she’ll live on through her. My thoughts and prayers are with my sister and the rest of the family. ❤️

Auntie Jean was the neatest Aunt any girl would wish for. Being my only aunt she made it very special for me. Many a time did I spend time with her and Rueben up in Walker. My husband and I would spend time before and after Rueben. Had to go to Charlie's restaurant JUST to see Charlie. Of course he made Jean blush a little. She will always be in my heart. Will miss you.

My gram was a light in my life. I have way too many memories, but one of my favorites was at Leech Lake. We were on the dock and putting our feet in the water. She went up to make me a crustless peanut butter sandwich cut in fours when I realized I had a blood sucker on my foot. I screamed loudly "Graaaaaaaama! Graaaaaaaama!" The neighbors came out, grandma came out, and the leech was gone so I yelled "Nevermind!". Not a minute later I saw it again, and of course screamed again. Grandma came too my rescue and saved me from that little blood sucker! I will always have a billion wonderful memories of my sweetest gram!

Tom and family, I am saddened to hear of Jeane's passing! I so enjoyed her during my past year at New Perspective! She immediately captured my heart. Rejoice in your loving memories of her.
