Although we weren't able to attend the celebration of Jim's life, I'm inspired to write this note after reading the story of his amazing life and the gifts he shepherded to his family, profession, and those who surrounded him. It's an telling note that - even though Jim and I worked together (albeit a short period) - many of his honorable accomplishments and sacrifices were unknown to me. Humble, kind, and supportive are words that come to my mind when thinking of Jim. He lived an admirable life - our condolences your way.

Thank you Mark for your kind words. He loved his profession and enjoyed the stimulation it gave him as it kept him young. I think that is why he continued working until he was 88 years old. Jennifer Aarrestad (Jim's daughter)
