Obituary of Yvonne Erickson

Yvonne (Bonnie) Erickson, 92, died July 30, 2019. She was born Sept. 21, 1926 to Abner and Ebba Solberg, graduation from Denfeld High School in 1944. Yvonne married George W. Erickson, Feb 22, 1947.

Bonnie was a member of Elim Lutheran Church. She retired in 1989 as Food Service Supervisor for the Proctor School District.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Charlene Anderson, brother Loren, and husband George of 48 years. Yvonne is survived by her five children; Gregg, of British Columbia, Lynn, of Duluth, Judy (Gerald) Sjoquist, of Florida, Mark (Sue), of Duluth, and Laurie (Dan) Sequin, of Duluth. Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Elim Lutheran Church, 6101 Cody St., Thursday, August 8th. Visitation 10 am, service at 11 am. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota.
