Dear Family of “Bonnie” (one of the “Golden Girls” from Viewcrest),
My mother, Gerrie Aro, is one of two remaining “Golden Girls.” She, Lou Zimbeck, your mom and Anna used to have so much fun together. They tried to make the best of their situation living in a nursing home with various health issues. I enjoyed talking and laughing with your mom. She had a lot of spunk and told it as it was. She so enjoyed her class reunions. One of her classmates, Herb Lien and his wife, Margaret, were long time friends of my parents. Herb passed away quite a few years ago from MS.
