Thelma was an accomplished seamstress, wife, mother and loving grandmother. Besides family, she also shared her home with many boarders, some of whom she remained close to right up until her death. She was an avid volunteer throughout her life, helping mainly children and the elderly enjoy and prosper in their lives. Her faith was central to her life.

Her biggest joys in life were playing cards (especially rummy and cribbage), spending time with her grandchildren and being surrounded by family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she shared, and the legacy of her love will live on through many generations.
