Obituary of Brian Russell Bertelson

Brian Russell Bertelson, age 36, passed away in Bangor, Maine on the morning of Sunday, May 5, 2019.

Brian is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Audrey Bertelson and his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Margaret Russell.

Brian is lovingly remembered by his parents, Mark and Ann Bertelson; his sisters: Lauren (Preston) Caddell, Allison (Octavio Abea) Bertelson and Kristen (Jake) Lechner; his daughter, Jasmine Bertelson and his many family and friends.

Brian was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 6, 1983. He grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and graduated from Eden Prairie High School. He lived in California, Washington, Texas, Louisiana and Maine. Brian enjoyed being outdoors and traveling with his many dogs.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at The Preserve Barn, 11221 Anderson Lakes Parkway, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, (NAMI Minnesota, 1919 University Avenue West, Suite 400, Saint Paul, MN 55104), or your local food shelf.
