I am experiencing waves of sadness that Diane has left this world. It leaves such a hole in our heart that she filled with her very alive self over many years. At the same time I rejoice that she has gone to be with her beloved Kenny and other family members in a far better Place than this world could any longer offer her. I know she had the assurance that her sons, their families and other kin and friends cherished her to the end and in that she felt free to move forward boldly as she had done all of her earthly life. What can't be taken away is the multitude of memories she made through her generosity in the kitchen, around the Christmas tree, and the bright perky and often mischeivous stories she knew would delight and entertain us. Go, then l, dear Diane, and know my gratitude is deep for all you offered me from the time I first encountered the Purtilo/ Fremling/Koski clans for a life long adventure. And when you have greeted them you'll see my mom and dad waiting their turn too!
