Obituary of Diane Marion Fremling

Diane Marion Fremling went to sleep and woke up with our Lord on April 23, 2019. She is reunited with dad to continue their love story that began in West Duluth when they were children.

Diane is preceeded by her husband for 64 years, Kenneth, now together forever, her mother, Sadie Purtilo, brother, Dr. David Purtilo, aunt, Tyne Koski, and daughter-in-law, Bugsy.

Diane is survived by her sons, Wade (Barbara), Jason (Pat Wendt),

grandchildren; Jeremy and Steven (Jennifer) Fremling, Stephane (Will) Mathews,

Felix, Leo, and Nova Jean Mathews, Saiya and Aeris Fremling; brother, Dr. Duane (Alice) Purtilo.

Diane was a cookie baker and peanut butter was her specialty. She worked for the Proctor School District up to retirement. She enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening.

Service is scheduled on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation at 9:00 a.m. at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
