Nate was both My uncle and godfather. He was a wonderful man with many talents. He was a talented musician, incredible golfer and served in World War 2. I spent almost every Holiday with Nate for most of my life. He was a gracious host. I would walk into his home and was always greeted with enthusiasm and what can I get for you.
Nate was married to my mom’s only sister Nancy who passed in 2000. Nate was like a brother to my mom. Nate would help us move, would take my mom to Viking games and was a good listener. In 1999, he hired my mom as a companion to her sister and bought my mom a realiable car.
The highlight for me was when I joined the Federated Women’s Club with Nate’s second wife Ellen. I got to know Ellen and did many wonderful things with Nate and Ellen as a couple. He was a very lucky man to have found another great life partner in Ellen. My husband and I will treasure our memories with Nate.
We are all going to miss Nate. I know that he has been reunited with many loving relatives and friends in heaven.
