Obituary of Daisy Ruth Young

Daisy Ruth (Davis) Young went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the age of 89.  She passed peacefully while surrounded by family.  Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 24, 1929 to Clinton and Bessie Davis, Daisy was a twin and was the last survivor of 11 children.  Daisy graduated from North High School in 1947.  Daisy married Clarence Young on November 11, 1955 and had 2 children, Michelle and David.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Bessie Davis, her husband, Clarence, and 5 brothers and 5 sisters.  She is survived by her children, Michelle and David, grandchildren, Brea, Kailyn, Justin, Jocelynn, and Khyler, great grandchildren, Justine, Jada, Kaison, and Maya, and her very special great niece, Jacki.

The Celebration of Life for Daisy Young will be held on February 16, 2019 from 12:30 - 2:30 pm at the 

Bloomington Event Center in the 
Fireside Room ( 1114 American Blvd W., Bloomington, MN).

Condolences may be sent in care of David Young to 4344 30^th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55406. Daisy will be missed dearly by all of those who knew her.
