Obituary of Merlaine A. Johnson

Merlaine Johnson, age 79, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully October 3, 2018 surrounded by family and love.  Survived by daughter Pam, Brian (Nick & Noah) Nieting, son Mike (Taylor & Cooper) Skog, daughter Mary, Mike (Kate, Joe & Tom) Sabre, sister Janice Anderson, family & dear friends.  Preceded by mother Edith Johnson, father Carl W. Johnson, step-father Emmett Johnson, and Bob Osman.  Merlaine graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis.  She spent her life loving and caring for her family.  As an employee at US Bank, Bloomington, she made many dear friends and enjoyed keeping in contact with them.  She was proud of her 46 years in recovery.  Wonderful mom, grandma, sister, friend - her loving, kind & generous heart will be missed by all who knew her. Celebration of Life will be in December when her grandson Noah is home.  Notice to follow.    …Live, love, laugh, trust...
