So many memories, all positive. How much he loved his family, and fishing with Chad. His being on the phone often with Cheryl and Chad, knowing that they loved him. Myra's staying at his home to care for him, this summer (thank God!). How much he loved the lake, and land, and his home, how well he took care of them. Building a rock ledge in his yard with Chad. A great neighbor, so welcoming to me. He said one time "15 deer walked through my yard this morning. I counted them!" I said "Well then, you don't have to do anything fancy to go hunting!" He said "Oh, I would never kill THOSE deer! They are my FRIENDS!" :) His staying up several hours in the middle of the night to watch a huge bear at his bird feeder. Such love of life, animals, and people! I will miss him dearly, beyond what words can express.
