Obituary of Barbara Byers Waller

Waller, Barbara Byers Age 81, of Edina, MN, passed away June 5, 2015. Preceded in death by parents Franklyn E. and Mary S. Byers. Barbara is survived by her children: Franklyn (Caprice), Steven (Kimberly) and Amy Stoner (Jeffery) and her grandchildren Franklyn Jr., Corriell, Peter, Liza and Christopher and great granddaughter Natalie. Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Barbara will be missed by her family and friends. Her wish: "promise you will take care of each other." Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she graduated from The Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY before moving to Minnesota where she raised her family, developed lifelong friendships and put down roots. Whether spending time with family, playing golf or bridge or dining with friends, she always enjoyed spending time with the people she loved. The family would like to thank the wonderful "angels" at N.C. Little Hospice, St. Croix Hospice and Legacy Home Care for their tender and loving care of our mother and grandmother. A celebration of Barbara's life and legacy will be held June 26 at The Memorial Chapel at Lakewood Cemetery at 10am followed by a reception with family and friends at Interlachen Country Club.
