Obituary of Elvera A Olson

Elvera A. (Strom) Olson, 90, lifelong resident of Duluth passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was born Aug. 24, 1924 in Duluth to Herman and Esther Strom She graduated from Denfeld High School in 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; a grandson, Mark Ekstrom; her parents; siblings, Ingrid Plesha, Thor Strom and Enar Strom. Elvera is survived by her daughters, Sandra Ekstrom of Minneapolis and Diane (John) Montgomery of Duluth; two granddaughters, Denise and Steffany (Kurt); three great-grandsons, Brock, Luke and Nick; a great-great-granddaughter, Chloe; other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Spirit Valley Assisted Living for their compassionate care of Elvera.
