Obituary of Orpha Moe Getty

Getty, Orpha Moe Beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. Survived by son Mark (Heather), daughter Mary (Wayne) Bradley; grandchildren Megan, Andrew, Kirsten, Emma, and Summer. She was born in Hitterdal, MN and attended Nursing School at Miller Hospital in St. Paul where she worked as a nurse until her marriage to Raymond Getty in 1959. She was an active member of Lakeview Lutheran Church and enjoyed volunteer work. She will be greatly missed. Service will be held at Lakeview Lutheran Church in Maplewood, Minnesota on Thursday, June 18, 2015. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM with a service at 10:00 AM and reception to follow. Interment at Fort Snelling on Thursday, June 18 at 1:35 PM.
