Obituary of Lawrence B. ‘Lary’ Carlson

Carlson, Lawrence B. "Lary" Age 78, of Ham Lake. Born July 8, 1936, passed away on June 13, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Myrtle; and brothers, Donald and Bill. Survived by loving wife, Mary Carlson; children, Becky (Gene) Studniski, Deb (Bruce) Miller, Lary Jr., Pam (Byron) Westlund, Tina Schumacher, Jim (Linda) Schumacher and Crystal (Rick) Glewwe; brothers, Martin (Peggy), Jerome (Linda), Oscar (Val), Fred (Marti); sister-in-law, Nancy; many grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends. Lary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all. He started Woodland Development and Carlson Advisors. He was an avid hunter and sportsman who hunted worldwide. He remained a true farm boy at heart and was a lover of nature and the outdoors. There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Northgate Lutheran Church, 7295 Sunwood Dr. NW, Ramsey, MN 55303 at 2:30 PM with a visitation 1 hour prior.
