Obituary of Ellen Arlene Guy

Age 93, of St. Paul, passed away on June 13, 2015. Preceded in death by Joseph Susick and beloved husband, Raymond S. Guy. Survived by son, Craig Michael Guy; daughters Linda Rae Guy Martin (Pat Geddes), Sharon Ellen Paradise (Kenneth Haberman), and Gloria (Michael) Scharfbillig; granddaughters, Maegan (Dana) Schmidt, Erin (Pedro) Maldonado, Ellen Haberman, and Kate (Adam) Dahlke; grandsons, Travis (Stephanie) Martin, Ryan Martin, David (Katie) Scharfbillig, and Joseph (Tracy) Scharfbillig; great grandchildren, Paige, RJ, Abigail, Annika, Hunter, Paige, and Dylan. Cherished aunt of Scott Sommerfeld (Eric Simpson) and Joan (Nick) Devito. Devoted friend to MaryJane Ferber (Carolyn Jones). Also survived by Bernice Kodada; brothers, Ronald (Bonnie) Mack and Robert Mack; many special nieces, nephews, and her lifelong friend Bert Ghimenti. A special thank you to her most loving caregivers, Susie, Linda, and Diane. A final farewell and a celebration of Ellen’s life will be held on October 12, 2015 at 8:45am at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. There will be a reception offsite to follow. If anyone wishes to make a donation in Ellen’s honor, it may be addressed to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the St. Paul Animal Humane Society.
