Obituary of Milton Thomas Kennedy

Kennedy, Milton Thomas 'Sunny' age 79, of Minneapolis, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence J. Kennedy, and father, Thomas M. Kennedy. He is survived by his son Milton Kennedy, Jr. (Lisa); and daughter, Michelle Kennedy; sister, Verlaine (Robert) Jackson; brothers, Carl (Frenchie), Leonard (Carolyn), Jeff and Kevin (Charlotte); grandchildren Marlon, Paige and Kobe; and a host of relatives and friends. At the age of 18, Milton enlisted as a member of the United States Air Force, where he served over 7 years, stationed at Fort Snelling. As a Ford Plant worker during the 1960's, Milton was the company's first minority employee in the Administration Department. He was a kind and loving friend, confidant and brother to those who knew him. Memorial service on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 10:00 am at the Historic Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, Hwys 55 and 62. Interment immediately following at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
