Obituary of Joanne Marie Heraly

Joanne Marie Heraly "Jo", died peacefully in her home on April 19, 2018 in Hanover, Minnesota at the age of 80. Joanne was born on February 14, 1938 to Rose and Harry Epps, of Anoka, Minnesota. Joanne is survived by her daughters, Tammi (Bruce) Prevost, Tina Sparks (James Johnson); grandchildren, Michael Heraly, Malcolm Nietz, and Alexander and Henry Johnson; siblings, Jerry Epps, Delayne Muehlbauer, Gloria Ferrian, and Donna Munns; many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. She was a "second mom" to some, and will be greatly missed. Joanne was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Michael Heraly; siblings, Ruth Burton, Warren Epps, and Robert Epps; and children, Vickie Lynn and Scott Allen. She had a talent for home decor, and enjoyed crafting, cooking, and baking. She loved her dolls, and couldn't get enough "Bling". Jo moved to Bridgewater at Hanover in January 0f 2017 and made lovely friends, and enjoyed activities with them and dressing her dolls. We would like to express our sincere thanks to CentraCare Dialysis of Big Lake. The doctor, nurses, and staff took special care of Jo and truly loved her. They have been so supportive to our family and we very much appreciate it. We also want to give our special thanks to everyone at Bridgewater at Hanover for the love and care she received, and to Moments Hospice for the care they gave her in her final days. Celebration of Life 7pm Thursday, April 26 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park with gathering time from 4-8pm.
