Master Plumber - Local 34 WW II - 834th Engineer Aviation Battalion and 661st Tank Destroyer Battalion Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather died June 25, 2015 at age 91. Born 1923 in Lily, SD and moved to MN in 1956. Preceded in death by his wife, Bethel and parents Irl and Edna of Lily, SD; Mother and Father-In-Laws, Alpheus and Ramona Beeney of Farmington, MN; sisters Marguerite Davis, Mary Towles, Irlene Schiley, Imelda Krome, and Lois Lee; and brothers Roy and Austin. Survived by children Virginia Trevis, Mary Jane Siebenaler (Dick), Faye Lovell (Ed), Elizabeth Grimes (Jim Swanson), 12 grandchildren, 17 great, 2 great great; brother Wayne Grimes (Sue) and brother-in-laws Al Beeney (Marlene) and Clarence Graphenteen; and all his friends from the former Lake Elmo VFW Post 5725, Phalen Realife Cooperative, and his cribbage leagues. Graveside service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue, South, Minneapolis, MN 55450, Assembly Area #4 on July 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM with a reception to follow at Phalen Realife Cooperative, 1355 Phalen Blvd, St Paul, MN 55106. Please note, if you are attending the graveside service at Fort Snelling, the cemetery requires that the entire party is at the assembly area at 10:15 AM. Those unable to attend the graveside service, please join family at the reception.
