Obituary of George Henry Rosenow

In Loving Memory Dec 5, 1916 - July 2, 2015 George, Age 98 of St. Paul, passed away at Stillwater Good Samaritan on July 2, 2015. George retired from MTC after 40+ years as a street car and bus driver. George was a 'farm boy at heart' and enjoyed his Sauk Centre cabin. George lived for his family, fishing, hunting, gardening and card games. He was a proud WW11 Veteran and strong union member. Survivors include son, Gregg (Sharon) Rosenow, Joshua Rosenow, Heather (Ryan) Peterson, Lydia; daughter, Gail Rosenow (Kenneth Tate') Ken and Andre Tate'; sister-in-law Betty Deziel-Harrington.George was preceded in death by wife Lorraine and son Gary; brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Bill; sisters, Myrtle and Alice. Family to attend a private service at Fort Snelling on Friday, August 14 at 2pm. A 'celebration of life' of 98 years for George will be held at Hugo American Legion Club following burial. A sincere 'shout out' of thanks to Stillwater Good Samaritan and St. Croix Hospice.
