Obituary of Joseph Noel Emile Bernier

BERNIER, Joseph Noel Emile “Joe”, age 85, passed away on July 3, 2015. As Emile would say, “Good morning! It’s a beautiful day!” Preceded in death by his parents, Yvonne and Edmond; son, Glenn “Butch”; son-in-law, Robert; and his beloved Gloria. Loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Janine, Judy (Jeff), Gail (Eric); grandchildren, Denise (Ted), Kim (Eric), Jenny (Pat), Audrey (Mike), Eli (Mindy); 5 great grandchildren, Garrett, Jack, Gretta, Emma, Camryn; many other loving relatives and friends. He loved his family “more than anything”. Lifelong professional wrestling fan, “the best acting on TV!”; and ultimate garage sale negotiator. Born in St. Jean, Manitoba, “Lefty” was the pitcher for the 1951 States Dominion League Championship. Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the caring staff at The Homestead in Coon Rapids and Consuello and staff of Allina Hospice. Your loving care of our Dad greatly enriched his life.
