Obituary of William D. Naddy

William D. “Bill” Naddy Age 89, of Bloomington, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on the 4th of July, 2015. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the destroyer USS Huntington and the battleship Colorado followed by a successful 34-year career with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was a man of faith, hardworking, and always put his family first. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth; children, Linda (Robin) Keith, Cheryl, Kevin (Nancy) and Sue (Jim) Gunvalson; grandchildren, Hannah (Steven) Marsh, Rebecca, Megan and John; great-grandchildren, Liv and Hallie; brothers, Lewellyn of Washington and Raymond of Duluth. He was preceded in death by brothers, Duane and Howard. A heartfelt thanks to family and friends for their continued love and support. A special thanks to Jenny Morgan and the caregivers at Breck Homes for their compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held Thurs., July 9 at Riverside Reformed Church, 10201 Nicollet Ave. S., Bloomington, visitation 10 AM, service 11 AM.
