Obituary of Jean M Merrill

Jean M. Merrill, 83, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away unexpectedly, at home in her sleep on Monday, July 6, 2015. Jean was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Linda Steiner; son, Jon Steiner October 2014; and loving husband Richard Merrill in December 2014, proof that you can die of a broken heart. She is survived by children Judy Vajdl (Terry), Lori Peters (Tracy), Joel Steiner (Louise), Steve Hanson (Rhonda); many grandchildren and great- grandchildren, with one great-grandson on his way in four weeks; and her Pine Hill Church family that she dearly loved. Her "babies," rescued cats are already lost without her and need good homes. Please help spread the word to her many friends so they know she has left her earthly journey and has begun her heavenly journey. VISITATION: 11 a.m. until 12 Noon. Memorial service from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Pine Hill Lutheran Church, 5702 Old Hwy 61, Duluth, MN 55810, I-35 and Midway Rd - exit 246. Pastor Lori Peters officiating.
