Obituary of Patricia O’Brien

Patricia “Pat” (McIsaac) O'Brien Age 88, born July 23, 1926 in Quebec, Canada passed away July 8 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; brother, Rod McIssac; sisters, Donalda Roche and Ruth Allbut; nephew, Brian McIsaac. Survived by children, Rob O’Brien and Kate O’Brien; daughter-in-law, Rachel O’Brien (Fitzgerald); brother, Gerald McIsaac; 21 nieces and nephews. Pat also leaves behind her second family of great friends at Minnetonka Assisted Living. Pat grew up in Flin Flon, Manitoba and married Joe on July 4th 1957 in Winnipeg before moving to the Twin Cities. An accountant by trade, Pat worked at Piper, Jaffrey and Hopwood, The Lincoln Del Restaurants and the Minneapolis Center for Energy and the Environment before retiring in 1991. In her spare time, Pat loved to play bridge, work on puzzles and spend summers on Lake Winnipeg. Pat also taught CCD for over 15 years at Christ the King, St. Patrick’s and St. Edwards. Memorial Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 13505 Excelsior Blvd., Minnetonka on Saturday July 25 at 1pm.
