Obituary of Delores Frances Rieger

Delores F. Rieger, age 95, formerly of Big Birch Lake, Grey Eagle and St. Paul, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Pine Villa Nursing Home, Melrose, MN. A private service will be held at a later date. Delores F. Berke was born to Sarah and Frank Berke Nov. or Dec. 1919 in St. Paul. She married Christopher E. Rieger on May 8, 1940 in St. Paul, MN. Delores worked at many different occupations in her lifetime. She loved playing cards, bingo and doing her crafts. Delores is survived by her daughter Patricia Berscheid, daughter-in-law Linda (Paul) Vomhof, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and sister Louanne Zschokkee, and many nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chris in 1999, son Chris Jr., 1 great-grandchild and 5 brothers.
