Other theater credits include: Hope Repertory Theater, Holland, MI; The Omaha Playhouse, Omaha, NE; The Firehouse Theater, Omaha, NE; and a USO tour of Iceland, Greenland and Newfoundland. Between theater gigs Don crisscrossed North, Central and South America and Europe on several occasions, finding special delight in the many times he spent on the island of Roatan, off the coast of Honduras. He is survived by his partner of forty years, Richard Calvo; brother Ken (Carolyn); nieces Laurie (Skip) Mathews and Lisa (Don) Hannon; nephew Doug (Wendy) and seven great-nieces and nephews. At Don's request, no services will be held.
