Obituary of Donald H. Goers

Age 79 Reunited in Heaven with his beloved daughter Christy and brother Dave, on July 14th, 2015, after a long struggle with MDS and leukemia. Leaves behind wife, Carole; daughter, Kathleen Goers; son Don, (Kellie); cherished grandchildren, Rachel, Billie, David, Jack, Tim, Anna, Joe; four great-grandchildren and brothers, Ken and Hank. Don loved his family deeply and was very proud of his beautiful grandchildren. He loved talking to them about history, especially WWII and the Civil War, and was an avid reader of both. He enjoyed breakfast out with "the boys," Ken, Hank and Jim. He will be greatly missed, forever loved and never forgotten. Private family service.
