Obituary of Gayle Bernice Stegeman

Gayle Bernice (Kirkham) Stegeman, 62, went home to her heavenly father on Sunday April 22nd, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Gayle was born on June 15th, 1955 and adopted by an amazing family when she was an infant. She grew up in Fridley, MN. She married the love of her life, Jerry, April 15th ,1978. She raised 2 compassionate children, Tara and Shane. She loved working for Northwestern Bookstore for over 20 Years, bringing God’s hope through Christian music to the community. For the past 8 years, she enjoyed managing the Maple Grove Hospital gift shop. Her favorite job was being “Grammy” to Josh, Ryan, Jason, Tyson, and Delaney. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Bernice Kirkham. Gayle is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Stegeman, daughter Tara (Shane) Kuntz, son Shane (Cassi) Stegeman, 5 grandchildren, brother Dave (Cindy) Kirkham, best friends Jim (Sandie) Stegeman, and many other family and friends. Special thanks to Fairview Hospice. Celebration of Life will be held Friday April 27th, 7pm at Edinbrook Church, 4300 Edinbrook Pkwy., Brooklyn Park. Visitation one hour prior to service, and after service also. Memorials preferred to Samaritian’s Purse or Fairview Hospice.
