Obituary of Henry Fitzgerald Mighell Loomis

Henry Fitzgerald Mighell Loomis, 17, of Duluth, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. Henry was born April 7, 1998, in Minneapolis, to Patrick and Wendi Loomis. Henry attended Duluth East High School and was a member of the Daredevils Robotics Team. He enjoyed family, friends, his poodle Stella, photography, movies, reading, programming, computers and being a part of the Robotics team. Henry was an exceptional student with a great sense of humor and a kind heart. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann Loomis. He is survived by his parents Patrick and Wendi; grandparents Tom and Pat Mighell; grandfather Leo Loomis; uncle Fr. Tom Loomis; aunts Lisa (Dan) Janisch, Laurie (Al) Bursiek, Jennifer Williams, Amy (Andy) Altenburg, Lisa (Mike) Mastey; cousins Claire, Erin, Katherine, Thomas, Sam, Ben, and Blake and a large extended family. Henry touched the hearts of so many and is greatly missed. GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 to share stories and celebrate Henry's life at Duluth East High School upstairs atrium mezzanine. In lieu of flowers, please donate memorials to the Salvation Army Food Shelf. In honor of Henry, please wear your Hawaiian shirts to the memorial gathering.
